Become a DashBlood ambassador

DashBlood ambassadors are volunteers who help spread blood donation awareness in their communities, schools and workplaces. If you want to help more people understand why donating matters, apply below.

02 / The role

What ambassadors do

The role is simple and local. You decide how much time you can give.

01

Raise awareness

Talk about blood donation in your community, school or workplace, so that more people know it matters and where to start.

02

Help people take part

Help people around you register as donors in DashBlood and understand how blood requests work.

03

Be a local contact

Be a point of contact for the DashBlood team in your area, so that what happens on the ground reaches us.

Voluntary and unpaid. Being an ambassador is a volunteer role. Blood donation also stays voluntary and unpaid: nobody is paid to give blood.

Who can apply. Anyone willing to volunteer, wherever you are: in Cameroon, elsewhere in Africa or abroad. The team reviews every application and follows up by email or phone.

03 / Apply

04 / Questions

Before you apply

Is being an ambassador paid?

No. It is a volunteer role. Blood donation is voluntary and unpaid too, and DashBlood does not pay anyone to give blood.

Do I need to be in Cameroon?

No. You can apply from anywhere, whether you live in Cameroon, elsewhere in Africa or abroad. The diaspora is welcome.

Do I need to be a blood donor?

It is not a requirement to apply. Whether someone can donate is decided by the donation facility, not by DashBlood. We cannot promise anything beyond reviewing your application.

How long until I hear back?

We cannot give an exact time. The team reviews every application and will contact you by email or phone, using the details you gave.

Start with a donation.

Ambassadors help people give blood and understand how requests work. You can see what is needed near you, or register as a donor yourself.
