· Educational guide — not medical advice
“If my blood group matches, I can definitely donate.”
Fact: Matching is only one part of eligibility. Screening staff consider health history, timing, laboratory checks, medicines, recent procedures, and local clinical rules.
“An urgent request means screening can be skipped.”
Fact: Urgency never makes unsafe collection or transfusion acceptable. Hospital testing and clinical procedures remain essential.
“DashBlood sells or stores blood.”
Fact: DashBlood is coordination software. It does not collect, store, transport, sell, test, or transfuse blood.
“A donor should be paid for helping.”
Fact: DashBlood supports voluntary, non-remunerated donation and does not promote cash-for-blood transactions.
